Fluffy Whipped Strawberry Butter

whipped strawberry butter - featured image

A quick and easy homemade spread combining softened butter with fresh strawberries and honey, whipped to a light, airy texture in just minutes. Perfect for brunch or a casual snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (225 grams) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (about 75 grams) fresh strawberries, hulled and roughly chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Soften the butter by leaving it at room temperature for about 30 minutes until soft but not melted. Alternatively, microwave for 10-15 seconds carefully.
  2. Hull and roughly chop the fresh strawberries. For a smoother spread, mash lightly or pulse briefly in a food processor.
  3. Place softened butter, chopped strawberries, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into a mixing bowl.
  4. Whip the mixture using an electric mixer on medium-high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until light, fluffy, and well incorporated.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired, whipping briefly again. Add a splash of milk if the texture is too thick.
  6. Spoon the whipped strawberry butter into a clean jar or container and chill for at least 15 minutes to firm up, or enjoy immediately for a soft spread.

Notes

Use softened butter for best whipping results. If using frozen strawberries, thaw and drain excess juice to avoid runny texture. Do not overmix to prevent oily texture. A hand mixer is recommended for fluffiness but whisking by hand is possible with more effort.
