A quick and easy no-bake cheesecake trifle layered with graham crackers, cream cheese filling, fresh strawberries, and blueberries, perfect for patriotic celebrations.

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • ½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups (150 g) graham crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh blueberries
  • Optional: honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness in the berry layers

Instructions

  1. In a chilled mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula until light and airy.
  4. Place graham crackers in a plastic bag and gently crush with a rolling pin or hands until coarse crumbs with some chunks remain.
  5. Rinse strawberries and blueberries well. Hull and slice strawberries thinly.
  6. Assemble the trifle jars by layering about 2 tablespoons of graham cracker crumbs at the bottom, then a spoonful of cheesecake filling, followed by a layer of strawberries for the red stripes, another layer of cheesecake filling for the white stripes, and top with blueberries for the blue field. Repeat layers if jar size allows.
  7. Cover jars with lids or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to let flavors meld and filling set.
  8. If filling is too soft after chilling, rest jars in the freezer for 10 minutes to firm up before serving.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for 30 minutes before mixing. Chill bowl and whisk for whipping cream. Fold whipped cream gently into cream cheese mixture to keep fluffy texture. Add berries last to keep layers neat and prevent sogginess. If filling is too soft after chilling, freeze jars for 10 minutes to firm up. Assemble jars ahead but add fresh berries just before serving for best freshness.
