A quick and easy no-churn ice cream recipe combining fresh peaches and bourbon for a creamy, boozy, and indulgent dessert perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon (e.g., Maker’s Mark)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, toss sliced peaches with sugar and bourbon. Let sit for at least 15 minutes at room temperature to macerate.
  2. Transfer peaches and syrup to a blender or food processor. Pulse a few times to create a chunky puree, or mash by hand with a fork for a rustic texture.
  3. In a large chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the whipped cream using a rubber spatula.
  5. Fold the peach-bourbon puree into the cream mixture until swirled but not fully blended to create a marbled effect.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, smooth the top, cover tightly, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
  7. Before serving, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly for easier scooping.

Notes

Chill bowl and beaters before whipping cream to achieve stiff peaks faster. Macerate peaches with sugar and bourbon to enhance flavor. Fold ingredients gently to keep mixture airy. If ice cream hardens too much, stir every hour during first 3 hours of freezing to prevent ice crystals. Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture. For dairy-free option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use dairy-free condensed milk. Reduce or omit bourbon for less alcohol or kid-friendly version.
